Write, issue, record
Policy tracking software: the written policies your people have actually agreed to, and the version each one signed
A policy nobody has read is a draft with a title. This site builds the documents a small US organization needs, one at a time and free, and the paid plan keeps each one against its version number with a record of which person agreed to which version, on which date, so the question everybody is eventually asked has an answer.
Free for 14 days. No card needed.
Attestroom Pro is $9 a month for the whole organization, billed monthly.

Write, issue, record
The document is the easy half; the record of agreement is the half you are asked for
A policy short enough that people finish it
The builders produce one page that states the requirement and stops, because the detail belongs in a standard underneath it. Short policies are read, and only a read policy is worth signing.
Which rule was in force in March
Every issue is a version with a date. When a decision is questioned later, the answer is the text that was in force at the time rather than the text on the drive today.
Who agreed, to which version, and when
A distribution list proves an email left. An acknowledgement record proves a person read and agreed. Only one of the two answers the question anybody actually asks.
Attestroom Pro turns a document on a drive into a record you can produce
Keep each policy against its version number, send it to the people it binds, and keep the record of who agreed to which version and when.
- Download the policy as a file you can edit, circulate and keep.
- Your policy without our name on the footer of every page.
- Keep this policy, with its version number and the date it was issued.
- Your organization's name and logo on the policy instead of ours.
- Send the issued policy to the people it binds, from inside the workspace.
Should we just buy a policy management suite?
If you are running a formal compliance program with a risk register, control testing and an internal audit function, buy a suite and do not buy this. Attestroom is for the organization with two dozen people, a handful of policies and no compliance function at all.
- What it costs
- Attestroom $9 a month for the whole organization
- A policy and procedure suitePriced per user or per module, quoted on enquiry
- What you set up first
- Attestroom Nothing. The builder works before you have an account
- A policy and procedure suiteAn implementation, your documents imported, your people provisioned
- What it produces
- Attestroom A one-page policy and an acknowledgement record
- A policy and procedure suiteA document library with workflow, review cycles and reporting
- What it does not do
- Attestroom No risk register, no control testing, no audit
- A policy and procedure suiteUsually all three, which is the reason for the price difference
The comparison is category level and deliberately carries no competitor prices: suites in this category are quoted on enquiry rather than published, so any figure here would be an assertion rather than a claim with a source.
