About Attestroom
Attestroom builds written policies and keeps the record that people agreed to them. The free builders ask a handful of questions and produce a one-page document plus the schedule or table it implies. The paid plan keeps each policy against a version number, sends it to the people it binds, and records which person agreed to which version on which date.
Why this site exists
This site exists because organisations write the document and stop. The half that gets asked for is the other one: which version was in force, who had seen it, and when they said so. That record is not hard to keep and almost nobody keeps it, because the tools that offer it are sold to companies fifty times larger.
Who it is for
Small US organisations whose policies live on a shared drive and whose record of agreement is a folder of forwarded emails
Not lawyers drafting for clients, not enterprises buying a GRC platform, and not anyone shopping for policy and procedure management software
What it does not do
- No legal advice, and no claim that a policy from this site satisfies any particular law. What the law requires of you is a question for your own counsel.
- No compliance programme, no risk register, no control testing and no audit. Those are a different product and we do not pretend to be it.
